About the Note-A-Day Calendar Series
Now on its fifth edition, the Note-A-Day Calendar Series was created to inspire musicians to practice.
In the midst of a busy life, finding time to practice can be difficult. When you do find the time, how do you decide what to work on? Between practicing scales, chords, ear training, theory, repertoire, tone, etc., the amount of choices can be overwhelming, causing many musicians to throw down their instruments and walk away feeling discouraged.
Now, with a short, daily lesson at your fingertips, you don't have to be overwhelmed. Even if you can only find a few minutes to practice, there's nothing to decide; each lesson is already laid out, short, simple, clear, and designed to help you think about your instrument in a new way. It's like having a teacher right by your side each day to give you some guidance and direction. Plus, even if you don't have any time to practice, each day also features a fun piece of music trivia to at least make you appear as though you know a thing or two about music.
Note-A-Day Calendars are available in both paper and electronic format (available November '08). Paper calendars are small, portable, and are spiral-bound for durability. eCalendars download to your computer and pop-up a lesson each day. To see a sample, click here.
